Privacy
Effective June 14, 2026.
Checkride107 is built around a simple commitment: we never sell or share learner data — ever.
- Local-first. In the default experience your study history, attempts, and spaced-repetition progress live only in your browser's local storage. Nothing leaves your device.
- Accounts (optional). If you sign in, we collect your email and sync your study data to a per-user, row-level-security-isolated database so it follows you across devices. Each organization's data is isolated from every other.
- Payments. If you buy Pro, payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. We keep a record that your account holds an entitlement and when it expires.
- Export & delete. You can export everything as JSON or permanently delete it at any time from the Account page (FERPA-friendly for education buyers).
- AI tutoring. When you use the AI tutor, only the current question context and your message are sent to the model provider to generate an explanation. We don't use your data to train models.
- Analytics. We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (page views, referrers, performance) to understand traffic. We do not build advertising profiles or sell any data.
- No dark patterns. No urgency or scarcity language, no manipulative upsells.
Service providers we use
We rely on a few trusted processors strictly to run the Service, never to sell your data: Vercel (hosting & aggregate analytics), Supabase (authentication & database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and a frontier AI provider (the tutor's explanations).
Children
The Service is intended for users 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.
